Anna, Simon & their girls made a two hour journey coming from Kensington to join me & hang out in one of my favourite wildflower meadows on the outskirts of Hitchin Hertfordshire. We are really spoilt for choice in Hertfordshire, surrounded by the most beautiful abundance of nature and beauty spots including Pedgson Hills, Rickmansworth Nature Reserve and Heartwood Forest. I absolutely love to use the backdrop of meadows, forests and rolling hills.

It was a beautiful warm summers evening, the sun had already dipped behind the clouds & the corn fields had just been harvested that day. As a family photographer in Hertfordshire who loves to capture families in a natural, relaxed and fun way; I have a few little playful prompts and games up my sleeve to keep the girls happy and living their best life. It was the furthest anyone had travelled to work with me, I was extremely touched & honoured that they chose me to document their story. Like so many families, they hadn’t had the chance to capture their chapters as a family since their youngest daughter Ella had been born, so this session was extremely special.

I love connecting & meeting with parents who find themselves in the thick of it too, sharing stories of mothering & raising little souls. It can feel chaotic & stressful, a family photo session is the perfect way to shut the world off & simply be with one another; connecting & celebrating this beautiful season of your lives.
