As a dedicated storytelling Bedfordshire family photographer, I am very intentional with the number of sessions that I take each month, so that I can give every family the time, care and attention they need to help bring their visions and story to life.
Instead of photographing multiple sessions a day, I only take one booking so that I can dedicate more time & energy to creating something unique for you and your family.
As a mother of two girls and a Bedfordshire family photographer with almost 10 years experience, I am very passionate and hands on with everything I do. When you enquire I will sit down and reply thoughtfully & genuinely excited that you’ve reached out; I truly love what I do and I love helping Bedfordshire families preserve their most precious memories in a way that honours their story.
I will help with visions, planning, and styling, our time together is not restricted to a length of time. And then I carefully hand select and hand edit the very best of the images that help tell the story of this season in your lives. I don’t stop when I hit a number of images, if I love it, the image goes in.
In a world so focused on output, productivity & disconnect from creativity through use of AI; I consider myself old fashioned! And gladly so.

My storytelling photoshoots can be held at home or out in the wild. They are an invitation to unplug, shut off from the world, to soak in & celebrate this chapter in your life. We have a pre-planning session to talk through your visions & what your want to create. I can help you source items & may have things already to add to the storytelling of your session. You’ll want to bottle up these moments cherishing your pregnant belly, soaking in your newborn bubble or playfully adorning your children….however tiny they are. For us parents family life can become a whirlwind, before we realise the year is done & another chapter closed. Book a storytelling session to savour the mundane everyday routine, take me to your favourite hangout place, savour the newborn bubble & those sweet newborn baby days held at home. My aim is to give you a nurturing, relaxed experience to cherish forever, one you will look back on with fondness.
*** Important to note that newborn sessions are flexible pencilled date around 7-10 days from your due date. Once little one has arrived you let me know how you’re all doing & if you need to change it. As I only take 2-3 newborn sessions a week, there’s plenty of space to move to a week or two later. I recommend enquiring around your 12-20wk scan ****

How does booking a shoot work?
If you're ready to book a session, click on the CONTACT FORM with as much information about your session dreams. Please make sure your email & contact number is filled in correctly so I can get in touch. Keep an eye on your JUNK folder as I tend to land there.
Once we've agreed on your session date, a £100 deposit & signed contract is needed to hold this in my diary, and then we're good to go.
what to expect?
About 4 weeks before your session you’ll receive a beautiful session guide to help get you ready, and we can have a pre session catch up on the phone or over zoom. My sessions are gentle & laid back, I want you & your children to feel like you're catching up with an old friend; my intention is to give you a cherished experience, to hold space, to celebrate you all as you are. I'm drawn to nature & working within the seasons, we'll venture outside in the beautiful golden light or get cosy at home, to tell a story of your love.
When is best to enquire?
I always recommend for maternity & newborn sessions, to reach out at the 20wk point of your pregnancy as I book up months in advance; particularly. For newborn sessions, we pencil in a date 7-10 days after your due date. When little one arrives, we can adjust the date if needed.
For family sessions outdoors I recommend March-October to be the better months for keeping little ones warm. Or have a cosy family photoshoot at home in the winter months

I’m available for daytime sessions on a Tuesday, Thursday & Friday either at my home studio in Biggleswade or in your home. Most of my clients book a few hours off for their session or are still on leave for their newborn session. I can sometimes be flexible with these days, depending on childcare; please let me know on enquiry. I work one Saturday or Sunday a month so if you know you’d like a weekend session, please reach out as soon as possible as they book quickly.
For outdoor location sessions these can take place during the day or at sunrise / sunset, when the light is most beautiful; they are held on a Tuesday, Thursday or Friday.

If a little rain doesn’t bother you, and it’s not an absolute downpour, we can still shoot. But if you’d rather not, we can move your session to the nearest available date in my diary. I keep a close eye on the weather in the run up to your session date & will keep in touch with you a few days prior if it’s looking like we need to reschedule.

My home studio is based in Biggleswade & is a perfect setting for newborn, maternity & motherhood sessions. I use locations in the Biggleswade, Potton, Letchworth areas. I take a long time getting to know my locations as it’s important to understand how the landscape changes with the season as well as the movement of the light in the space; I also look for easy & safe access for clients. I’m always happy to travel, there are additional travel fees outside of 20 miles; I have had clients in the Lake District & Scotland as well as clients in Cambridge, Bedford, Hertfordshire & London. If I’m travelling with my family, I always share my dates on my social media & newsletters as this saves travel costs for you.
