GET TO KNOW YOUR HERTFORDSHIRE & BEDFORDSHIRE FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER
Hey, I’m so pleased to have you here!
I’m Kim,
NATURAL & LAID BACK FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER BASED IN HERTFORDSHIRE & BEDFORDSHIRE.
A warm sentimental mothering soul, creating timeless storytelling memories through all the chapters of motherhood & family life. Mother to two wildlings, I know how fleeting these years are & whilst it’s greatly out of my comfort zone, I try to practice what I preach so here you’ll find a few of my favourite motherhood moments with my daughters…
WHY FAMILY & MOTHERHOOD PHOTOGRAPHY?
Photos took on a whole new meaning of invaluable when my mother passed away. I was tenderly in my teenage years & overnight they became my most valuable possession. Photographs were the closest tangible thing I had of her & our story together. I wish there were more of her and us growing up. So I’m deeply passionate about placing parents in the frames of their children's memories. My work is centred around telling the story of connection in your mothering & family story
I bring both artistry & heart to my work, creating photos that you can feel
ARE YOU READY TO CREATE A LITTLE BIT OF MAGIC FOR YOU & YOUR LOVES?
I can’t wait to hear from you xx

gentle & intentional
I love to work with mothers in all seasons of mothering, telling stories of you & your children in moments of connection to create imagery that is warm & heartfelt. My approach is gentle but with intention to story tell, holding space for you & your loves to simply be yourselves, taking time to be present in these fleeting days. What we create will be nothing short of nostalgic magic, to take you right back to that moment, after time has marched on.
Photography allows us to preserve precious memories that fade over time; they will one day become a gift to our children to be cherished for generations. I work to empower mothers, to feel their most beautiful, whilst being placed at the heart of their children's memories. Although an introvert, I love connecting with people during their sessions, my approach holds gentle intention & I work in a way that opens a safe space for my clients to feel confident, held & seen.
held & seen
I'm a mother to two young daughters, knee deep in the thick of it. My own season of mothering & the grief of losing my mother, two intertwined journeys that ebb & flow, is what has led me here. I have often found myself trying to piece together long forgotten moments that I swore I would never forget, scrabbling for words to write letters of love for my children to one day have. Imagery is a way of writing beautiful poetry to our children, for them to read over & over, and know how deeply they are loved.
in the thick of it
“I work in a way that both celebrates and empowers women.”
As mothers we are usually in our jeans & tees, speckled with drops of the day’s graft taking care of our littles; we rarely have a moment for ourselves. Don’t get me wrong, I hate my photo being taken as much as the next woman, it is how we’ve been socially conditioned to hold inner insecurities that make being photographed so uncomfortable. It can be a vulnerable process, to be in front of the camera, particularly at times when we’re still finding ourselves & not feeling our best. I have taken great care in building my business around the needs of mothers & I work in a way that celebrates & empowers women in pregnancy, postpartum & their season of mothering. I hold mothers at the very heart, making them feel confident, beautiful & seen. For the ones who would usually be taking the photo rather than in the frame, this is for you.
Because your journey & mothering memories deserve to be celebrated & held in time. With a little gentle guidance, I will capture you & your loves, artfully & timelessly, just as you are.
There are stories to be told, I truly am the lucky one who helps you to tell it.
“I have taken great care in creating an experience that centres around the needs of mothers.”

Family, Cabins & Cats
When I’m not photographing I’m with my little family, planning slow days & our next adventures.
We don’t do fancy things, they don’t hold value to us in the way simple everyday things do. A typical Sunday for us usually revolves around food… the girls are collecting eggs from the chickens, blueberry pancakes by the fire for breakfast, a walk & forage in the forest. We try to live intentionally with the simplicity of the seasons & find ourselves stepping back from the busy life we use to know. We’ve learnt not to have too high ambitions when it comes to making plans. If we make it out of the house, we’ve achieved something that day.
We have a love affair with treehouses, anywhere off the beaten track, so we try to take a trip to a different cabin each year. The rolling landscapes of the Scottish Highlands feels like home & some of our most memorable trips were spent in Argyll; if you haven’t been you must go. You will fall in love just like we did. I love to cook wholesome food, and often share my love of cooking with my clients so expect some nourishing goodies along the way.
“The moment a child is born, so is the mother. She never existed before.
The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new”
