I’m so passionate in encouraging fellow family photography lovers to create as their heart desires whilst turning their art into an unforgettable experience; all the while building the foundations for a sustainable & thriving business.
If you’re here it’s because family photography speaks to your soul, you want to make it your career, but perhaps you don’t know how or where to even begin. When I started my photography journey in 2018 I wanted so desperately to make it my career, but I honestly had no clue how to build a thriving & sustainable business, in all honesty I thought it was a pipe dream! For years I had very minimal photography bookings & still worked my full time job in local government; so many told me I couldn’t earn a living from taking photos. In 2020 I started to invest more in business education whilst fine tuning my voice & vision as an artist. I spent all available hours learning how to build my photography business so that I could quit my job, raise our daughters, work flexibly around our children & all whilst creating precious memories with the most wonderful souls.

Running a business can be tough, it can be a lonely place at times which is why it’s important to me that I create a nurturing community for all. Fast forward to today I am now fully booked months in advance & earning enough to support myself & my family. I just wish I’d known then what I know now & invested in my dream sooner.

There is no topic off limits & we can focus on a variety of subjects : how to get started, editing workflow, marketing, perfecting a memorable client journey, branding, SEO, how I hold a photography session, light, model calls, nurturing creative energy etc

A Supportive Shoot Along Session
These creative shoot along sessions are perfect for you if you’re struggling with creative direction & want insight into how I lead my clients through their photography experience. Perhaps you’re just getting started & want to feel confident in how to lead your sessions? Or you’re in need of guidance for how to bring your creative visions to life? Or you want to feel more confident in using natural light & techniques for capturing the essence of your clients story? I’m here to help you feel confident in holding your clients hand throughout their session, providing a memorable client experience whilst creating your session dreams. Your shoot along session will be tailored to support you in the areas you’re finding most challenging. I’m happy to lead or you can lead & I’ll be on hand to support & give guidance throughout. Please note : basic camera knowledge & use in manual is essential for this package

A collaborative hour of pre-planning your session concept, talk through any pain points or creative desires before we step into the session (moodboards optional)

An hour in person debrief to chat over the session & view the images you captured together, assisting with post workflow & editing. Identify key growth areas to implement in future sessions.

A two hour session of your dreams, led by me or observing the session & providing ongoing support whilst you lead.

An hour zoom follow up session 2 weeks later to catch up & review your action plan

Online mentoring is via Zoom. For in person mentoring you can come to my home in the SG18 area or we can meet in a coffee shop; whichever you prefer. There is mileage included for the in-person mentoring of up to 20 miles from SG18.

Nothing is off limit, I’m an open book & so happy to help you in your journey. What we cover will vary depending on the package chosen & what you have identified to be the areas of growth & learning you would like to achieve during our time together. The questionnaire will also help us in identifying your key learning focus points.

For all packages there is a post mentoring 30min zoom follow up 4 weeks later; this is to go over what you’ve achieved & I can answer any final questions you might have. During those 4 weeks I’m on hand via email to answer any questions that come up.

Yes absolutely, if you’re not familiar with a camera yet I would advise starting with a 1:1 zoom call or ½ day in person where we can go over camera basics, advice learning how best to get started etc. I feel you’d get the most from the full in person shoot a long session once you’re more confident with your camera.

Yes of course, a deposit is taken & contract signed to secure your mentoring session in my diary. Then the remainder could be split into 2 or 3 flexible payment options; the full balance is required 7 days prior to the mentoring session. I’m always happy to chat this through in more detail so please don’t hesitate to reach out.

No question is off limit, I’m an open book & here to best serve you to enable your growth in business. The only thing that I feel is important to keep private are the locations that I use for my sessions, this is simply to protect my clients experience & privacy due to the intimate nature of the sessions that I do. I also think it’s so important to build understanding & confidence in our locations & we learn how to get really connected to the places we invite our clients to. I’m so open to offering all the location advice, tips & things I’ve done to find the most amazing spots & so happy to come out & help you find the perfect places for your sessions.
